focused on supporting Boards and senior leadership teams form and execute their strategic visions and bid for and secure contracts.
TAP Business Development Ltd was established in 2008 and has built a strong reputation for delivering results whilst working closely with a portfolio of management teams in a range of businesses, from start-ups and SMEs to large VC and privately financed multi-nationals and PLCs.
TAP Business Development works across a range of sectors to provide business development and operational expertise.
Championing excellent working relations and collaborating with people we ‘get’, we tailor our approach to fit specific business needs.
Depending on our involvement we work on either retained, interim, non-executive or a project basis to deliver a fresh perspective to getting and keeping your business in growth mode.
We are as at home with board level strategy formulation, collaboration & mentoring and commercial operations as we are with being ‘sleeves rolled up’ and ‘hands-on’ to deliver and execute our ideas against tight deadlines.

Mike started his career in industrial marketing with steam engineering giant Spirax Sarco plc. Thereafter, he moved to become Marketing Director for an economic development consultancy and Venture Capital Fund Manager.
Mike built a leading international development aid business and became a specialist in partnership building and competitive tendering across international markets.

From her days working at Euro Disney, experiences with contract caterers Gardner Merchant up to her years on the Boards at JD Wetherspoon and Zizzi, hospitality has always been at the heart of all Becky has done.
In order to share and utilise her wealth of experience across the Hospitality & Leisure sectors Becky joined forces with TAP Business Development in June 2016.
